Device to computer

Transfer the file from the original device, onto your local PC, either using an SD card or the device itself.

SD Card via Camcorder

1) Turn camcorder off. Remove SD card.

2) Insert your SD Card into your PC's card reader or a memory card reader.

3) Once inserted your computer will recognize the SD card as an external drive. Double click to open the folder and access the file.

Mobile Device Camera

1. Connect mobile device to the computer with your charging cable.

2. If the device asks you to "Allow" the computer to read it's data, click "Yes" or "Allow."

3. The computer will recognize your device as an external drive like it would with an SD card. Locate the file in your camera folder.

Once you have located the file

1. Drag and drop the file from your SD Card Folder or Device to your desktop.

2. Make sure that it is named without any spaces or special characters($ - _ / \ @# ETC) and that the file type is .mp4.

  • ON WINDOWS: If the file is not a .mp4, send MemoryShare a Chat for special link so we can convert the file for you.

  • On MAC: If the file is not a .mp4, rename it to include .MP4.

3. Navigate to the MemoryShare Portal choose your service and upload via "Add Video Files"
