Using the MemoryShare App, videos can only be edited before you upload the recording. Using a computer you can edit the video at any point.

Step 1 : Open Video Editor

Locate the video you wish to edit.

Click on "Edit"

Step 2 : Choose Files

This will open up the video editor. From here you can trim the file or add more files.

Click "Next" if you'd like to edit the video that is shown in the preview.

Restore Original File

If you over trimmed, or need access to the original files MemoryShare keeps a copy of the original files for 1 year(starting on March 1st 2024). To access these files click on "Restore Original Files". This will populate the editor with the first copy of the videos uploaded to MemoryShare

Step 3: Set start & end time

Set the start time and stop time of the video.

Use the scrub buttons to find the exact spot in the video you'd like to start and stop at.

Do the same for the end time.

Step 4 : Save Changes

Click "Save Changes"

Step 5: Wait

The video will take about 15-45 minutes to render, depending on the length and other factors of the video.

During this time the original file will still be viewable in the MemoryShare video player. As soon as the video is done rendering the new video will be shown on the video player.
