What is Premium Support?

Certain MemoryShare packages include Premium Support. If your account includes this, MemoryShare will pro-actively text you if we notice a problem with your stream.

How do I know if I have Premium Support?

To see if your account has Premium Support enabled, navigate any event that has a time entered. If you see a textbox with a phone number, your account is enrolled in Premium Support.

If you don't see this text box, please reach out to inquire about pricing to enable Premium Support on your account.

Configuring Premium Support

MemoryShare needs to know which number to text if there is an issue with the stream. Each employee should have their own user account. Each employee should also have their cell phone number entered into their user account.

Assigning the phone number to the event

By default whichever user creates the event, will be assigned to the event. If the user who created the event, is not the same user who will be live streaming you need to change the user, so MemoryShare knows which number to text if we notice a problem with the stream.

Changing the user tied to the event

The circle with the two letters is the user's initials. In the above picture we can see the service is tied to Shane White > SW. The phone number above is the number tied to Shane's user account. To change the director you can click on the phone number, and a drop down of all your users will appear. Select the appropriate person who will be live streaming this event.

In the dropdown you can select the appropriate employee in charge of live streaming the event.

**If the person doesn't have a MemoryShare account, you can add them to your account by clicking "Add User"

Changing the phone number

If the employee has a different phone number than what was previously entered, you can change the phone number by clicking on the phone icon.

Landlines

MemoryShare only offers premium support through SMS messaging. If you enter a landline number, MemoryShare will not reach out if we notice a problem.

Landline Warning Message

If we detect a landline number, you will see the following warning message on the event.

I'm seeing the warning message, even though I entered in my cellphone

MemoryShare references a database of all known landline numbers. Sometimes there is an error in the database and we show the above message on cell phone numbers. If this happens to you, please reach out and we will flag your number as an active cell phone.

Default User

Some services might be created outside of the MemoryShare portal. This happens if a service is created through an integration such as Passare.

Because no MemoryShare user created this event, we set the event user to your "Default User". A Default User is the person who we assign the event to if we are unsure who is tied to the event.

You can configure the default user by going to "Settings > Default User"
